Sahar is a 200 RYT certified Yoga instructor who knew from a very young age that she loved to move and that if she is not moving, she is not living. During her youth, she nurtured this joy of physical movement through gymnastics, classical ballet and several other forms of dance. In her mid-twenties Sahar attended her first yoga class, not knowing how stepping onto a mat that day would set her on a new brighter journey; it was love at first sight. Yoga let her move in ways she never had before!
Since her first class, she has developed a strong, dedicated practice both on and off the mat. Whilst her love for yoga began with the physical element of movement allowing her to transcend the borders of her physical capabilities, she has then realized that Yoga is much more than a physical activity. She has experienced how Yoga anchors a powerful effect on one’s mental and emotional state. Yoga has helped her feel healthier and stronger while introducing a little space into her busy and sometimes anxious life. It inspired her to live each moment mindfully.
Sahar teaches several styles of yoga including Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Hot Yoga. She particularly likes to teach a flowy Vinyasa Yoga style through mindful and joyful movements. She loves the mix of powerful and calming sequences which are gracefully linked by the breath with an emphasis on both alignments, building strength, stability and flexibility.
Sahar is passionate about sharing the precious gift of yoga with others. She teaches yoga with a caring, playful and dynamic approach. She also approaches her teaching with humor, warmth, and compassion, which encourages her students to challenge themselves while developing a stronger practice.
